VHS Covers

A special 7x8 size, hard plastic box with a plastic wrap and cardboard display packaging. The pop is a standard 4" figure that is attached to the back of the box via a plastic attachment. The portrait behind the figure is of the classic film they star in, often times the figure is posed to match the cover, but not always.

What an interesting idea. Using the cover art of the movies and adding a pop to make it a unique collectible. They do take up more space then standard pops and some of them are kind of lazy, but still, some movies have really cool box art.

Duchess (10)

The Aristocats - A movie about cats. Thomas O'Malley, Duchess, and her kittens. I saw this on Amazon for $7 during a sale and thought it would be cool to have by my piano. I remember the movie having the cats playing on a piano.

We had a lot of Disney movies on VHS, but this actually wasn't one of them. This and Hercules are the movies I liked but didn't own.  My neighbor had them and I probably borrowed them at least once. I'd imagine his mom is the one who liked them.

I like how cute Duchess looks. I don't have any regular cat pops, besides the tiny pets included in my Pop Yourself of Mandela. OH wait, I do have the three pack of the kittens from this movie too. I think that it being on sale and a cat and the memory of the Arpeggio song made we want to buy this.
